On June 22nd, the community of Pacifica Senior Living Vacaville hosted a First Responder’s Breakfast to honor all the incredible first responders in the area, including police, fire fighters, paramedics and veterans. The event was co-hosted by Jackson Medical Supply and included vendor booths from Adya Hospice & Palliative Care of Fairfield and Counseling to Inspire Inc. of Vacaville.
An amazing spread of home cooked food was awaiting all those who stopped by, including breakfast burritos, quiche, sausages, cinnamon rolls and fruit platters, all made by the Dining Services Director, Maria, and the culinary team of Pacifica Senior Living Vacaville.
Vacaville is a community minded area that has a strong sense of giving back to those who serve. Pacifica Senior Living Vacaville, and cosponsors wanted to give a special thank you and show their appreciation for everything the first responders do day in and day out. This first event was an opportunity for residents of the community to show their gratitude and spend time with the first responders from the Vacaville neighborhood.
Many prominent figures from the area came out to support both Pacifica Senior Living Vacaville, and the first responders. Notable attendees included Vacaville Planning Commissioner Michael Fortney, Lieutenant Chris Lechuga, representative for state Senator Bill Dodd, and President of the 100 Club of Solano & Yolo counties Ron Turner.
