What the Armed Forces Taught Me: Life Advice from Veterans

Written by Pacifica Senior Living | Nov 7, 2022 7:02:53 PM

On Veterans Day, we take the time to reflect on the freedoms and rights of this great country, and extend our deepest thanks to all those who have served and fought for the United States of America. We honor those who gave their years of service and dedicated their lives to keep us and our country safe.

From Army to Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard or Air Force, we honor the men and women who have served. Across our Pacifica Senior Living communities, we are hosting Veterans Day celebrations including pinning ceremonies, color guard displays, and expressions of thanks and the unveiling of our Veteran “Walls of Honor”. Some of our communities were also honored with Veteran speakers, who took the time to share their stories and reflect alongside fellow resident Veterans about times spent in the service.

We want to continue to share our greatest thanks as we honor some of our resident Veterans from across our Pacifica Senior Living Family. Each of these Veterans have shared a little bit about themselves, their service and a piece of life advice.
