Bon Appetit Cranberry French Toast

  • 10 Slices of Bread
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 Tbsp Milk
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 Cups Cranberries
  • 2/3 Cups Maple Syrup
  • 2 tsp Brown Sugar
  • 1/3 Cup Apple Juice
  • Cooking Oil


Step 1.  Whisk eggs, milk, cinnamon and vanilla together and set to the side. 

Step 2. Heat roughly a few teaspoons of cooking oil in a frying pan over medium heat. 

Step 3. Dip the bread slices into the eggs mixture, coating both sides.

Step 4. Fry the bread in the pan, flipping to cook each side. Bread should turn a golden brown color. 

Step 5. Add cranberries to a sauce pan with the maple syrup, apple juice, and brown sugar. Simmer over low heat and cook until the cranberries pop. 

Step 6. Top the fried slices of bread with the cranberry sauce and serve.
