Celebrating 15 Years of Pacifica Senior Living

Pacifica Companies was first founded in 1978, and is a privately-owned family-run real estate firm that operated in multiple countries. In 2008, the company expanded, launching Pacifica Senior Living which focuses on providing compassionate, individualized care to older adults 55 and up. This year, Pacifica Senior Living is excited to celebrate 15 years of excellent senior living care.


Though Pacifica Senior Living started off small, purchasing its first building in Sun City, Florida, it has grown significantly over the last 15 years, and now boasts nearly 100 different communities from coast to coast.

The majority of our portfolio is in the popular retirement states of California, Florida, and Arizona where we offer a range of senior living options including Active Adult 55+ residences, Independent Living, Assisted Living, and communities that specialize in Memory Care.

Each of our unique communities have the same mission, goals and values - to offer exceptional care and a truly unique lifestyle for our residents.

Over the years, as Pacifica Senior Living has expanded, we have seen wonderful change. We have grown to become the 5th largest Memory Care provider, 10th largest Assisted Living Provider, 13th largest Overall Care Provider, and 21st Largest Independent Living provider in the United States. 


We are also proud to hold accreditation in communities like Pacifica Senior Living Heritage Hills, Caring Awards from Caring.com for a wide range of our communities, Best of Memory Care acknowledgments from memorycare.com, Caring SuperStar rankings, Senior Advisor Best Of awards, and so much more. More than just titles, these awards showcase the dedication and hard work of our amazing teams, nationwide, as well as serve as a marker of how far we’ve come in bringing great care to so many families and loved ones.

As we celebrate the last 15 years, we look forward to making even more great memories with our teams and residents across the nation. Even now, we are continuing to grow, expand, learn and strive for new goals as we continue bringing exceptional care and services to our senior communities.

Recently, we welcomed a number of new communities across California, including Sun City, Monterey, Placerville, Poway, and Oakland, and we are excited to be launching our first community in Kentucky. Even as we grow, we know the importance of remembering where we came from.

As a family-run business, Pacifica Senior Living is rooted in building real, meaningful bonds between our residents, team members, and caregivers. We understand that moving to a senior living community, or searching for one for a loved one is a big change, and we are here to help guide and assist you every step of the way.

Our aim is to create a welcoming, open environment where families and loved ones can feel at home, and rest assured knowing they or their loved one is in good hands.
