Participate in exciting festivities and experience the traditional Lunar New Year traditions celebrated by different nationalities across Asia. We invite you to participate and enjoy our special Lunar New Year celebrations, as we welcome the Year of the Tiger!
The Lunar New Year festival is a popular public holiday in countries such as Vietnam, China, Korea, and Japan. Throughout Asia, the festival attracts millions of visitors each year who take part in social celebrations and festivities, bursting with typical Chinese cultural performances and activities that are linked to local tradition.
Chinese astrology assigns meaning to each year, in line with each year’s symbolic animal. Some people belong to the year of the tiger, such as those born in 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, and 2000. Those born in the year of the Tiger are said to be fierce and unpredictable during competition. In 2022, we are celebrating this Tiger spirit, as we see what the next 365 days hold.
Celebrate the Chinese New Year with a traditional slice of the popular pineapple cake. Deliciously moist, this rich pineapple cake is filled with a tangy pineapple cream cheese frosting and then topped with lightly toasted macadamia nuts, creating an irresistible indulgence.
