"As the result of several medical problems and surgery on my right foot, I was told not to put any weight on my right foot. Consequently, I spent five plus months in rehabilitation facilities and hospitals. When my insurance would no longer cover the costs of these facilities, I investigated the possibility of staying at other facilities where I would receive a place to stay and meals. I investigated four possibilities and compared what they had to offer and their prices. I chose Pacifica.
Pacifica offered an abundance of activities in the premises and also bus trips for the residents to stores and various other places of interest. In addition, it was the closest to home - but that had nothing to do with choosing Pacifica for the duration of my convalescence.
They have a staff of trained nurses who administer medications to the residents as many as three times a day. My room was perfect for my needs and its cleanliness was maintained regularly. Each day at breakfast we were presented with the menu of choices for lunch and dinner that day. The food was always very good and it was obvious that the choices were out of the ordinary. Some of the meal choices were crab cakes, lasagna and tilapia. The food was definitely of high quality.
If I knew of a friend who needed a place to go for convalescence or more permanent care, I would not hesitate to recommend Pacifica."
