If you were to look for someone who is kind, patient, and caring you would need not look any further than to our Northridge community and their beloved Memory Care Director, Frances Norberte. She has been a part of our community for 20 years, 9 of which have been with us as a part of the Pacifica Senior Living family. During these years, she has lovingly worked with that very special population of individuals and has been their ultimate champion, supporter, and cheerleader.
Over the years she has worked at Northridge, she has gotten to know each resident she cares for well beyond just the surface details—she learns their likes and dislikes, their social history, and how to help them live purposefully in spite of memory loss. She communicates with their families, keeping them in the loop of what their loved one is doing and ensuring they are always up to date on their care needs.
She is always calm, and has a great smile that her coworkers say is contagious. With so many years in our community she has experienced more than most. She is able to skillfully lead and guide other staff through tough situations and they all agree that one of the best things about working at Northridge is having her a part of their family. Passionate about her residents and with a limitless energy, Frances exemplifies our Pacifica Mission in creating peace of mind for our families and security for our residents.
Even the community dog, Jackson, loves her and likes to visit her in the memory care neighborhood. She has enriched the lives of all who come in contact with her and Northridge is a better community because of her. We are grateful for the opportunity to have such a special person in our midst.
