Across our communities, our nurses are hard at work ensuring the very best care and wellbeing of our residents. We greatly appreciate all that our nurses do day in and day out to establish comfort, care and support for our residents.
Nurses can most often be found in Assisted Living and Memory Care communities as well as Skilled Nursing Facilities that cater to older adults. These nurses offer care services that allow residents as much independence and dignity as possible, while ensuring aid and support are on hand when needed.
From assistance with activities of daily life to medical and personal care services, our nursing team elevates the quality of life of each resident, and offers peace of mind to family members who can rest assured knowing their loved one is in good hands.
In many cases, senior living nurses will have a specialty or experience in long-term care services covering most day to day needs of residents.
Not only do our nurses work hard, but they are a vital part of the atmosphere and community feel in each or our Senior Living communities. Their warmth, caring, affection, and passion for what they do is a big part of what makes each community so special. Corrie has a very gentle bedside manner and a kind smile. Our community was recently blessed by the move in of a retired Firefighter who has been anxious since learning that he will not be returning to his home. Our RN, Corrie, paid him a visit in his new House here at The Courtyard and assured him that he will be able to maintain his independence while allowing her to manage his care. This gentle chat gave our new resident the confidence needed to begin his journey in his new home here. Corrie continues to attend classes to further her educational career all the while working with our community full time.

Rose works tirelessly when there is a need and always shows up when a resident needs assistance. She works many hours of overtime, and is a constant presence in the community. Rose will often stop by Happy Hour to interact with the residents in her downtime as well. She also shares her dancing and musical talents with the residents which makes everyone smile.

Regina has the patience of a saint, especially dealing with family members, doctors, hospitals and all of our memory care residents! I remember when Regina started at our community, some 6 years ago. Her background was in hospitals & skilled nursing facilities, but she was looking for something different - something more fulfilling. Her compassion for our residents was immediate! Within the first month of work, she had to meet with one of our family members struggling with the decline of their mom. Regina shared her own personal experience with her own family member. This had a huge impact on the family, and she continues to radiate this love and kindness each day.
