It’s October 1st, bringing brisk weather and brightly-colored, falling leaves for many Pacifica Senior Living locations. Residents are gearing up for Harvest-themed events and Halloween celebrations, complete with parties, seasonal recipes, and so much more.
Fall officially begins on September 22, but October brings peak colors for fall leaves throughout northern parts of the United States. We invite our residents to enjoy an array of themed events during fall, establishing seasonal spirit among our communities. Many of our residents look forward to fall each year for the season's beautiful colors and foliage, and we love celebrating autumn's entrance at Pacifica Senior Living.
Our Autumn events range from hands-on activities like carving pumpkins with friends to group outings for opportunities like apple-picking. Our kitchen staff joins in on the festivities, serving seasonal dishes and desserts when residents sit down to dine on campus. From apple crisp to chicken noodle soup, pecan pie, cinnamon rolls, and so much more, we encourage residents to get in the seasonal spirit with timeless autumn classics.
Seasonal changes bring shifts in weather and temperature, especially for residents living in northern regions. While we welcome fall with a smile, we think it’s a good opportunity to remind residents about dressing appropriately for the changing weather. Fall may bring cold mornings and dry air, so it’s important to prepare accordingly!
As we transition from summer into fall, we are excited to watch our residents participate in our Halloween and Thanksgiving celebrations on campus. We know many residents are looking forward to Christmas, Hanukkah, and the holidays December brings, but let’s savor fall for all of its beauty and charm while it lasts.
