Each November, Pacifica Senior Living brings recognition and celebration to not only the many veterans who call our communities home, but those who visit and work for our residences. Recognized each year on November 11th, we use Veterans Day as an opportunity to listen to our resident former service members’ stories and elevate their bravery.
On behalf of the Pacifica Senior Living team and each of our communities, we extend the most heartfelt appreciation to our veterans -- and to all brave servicemen who serve our country. Many of our residents and their family members have been impacted by service in the military, from those who fought abroad to their wives and children, sacrificing on the homefront. Our staff, administrators, and caregivers extend the utmost respect and veneration for our resident veterans, going above and beyond to create strong relationships and feelings of belonging that uplift their experiences as a serviceman.
As said by President John F. Kennedy, “As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” At Pacifica Senior Living, our gratitude toward veterans is shown through action -- while striving to help residents feel comfortable and live well, our staff are consistent in demonstrating respect, compassion, and admiration for all who have committed their time to serving in the name of freedom.
While Veterans Day is a special opportunity for us to uplift our veterans and bring attention to their brave stories, we at Pacifica Senior Living bring our gratitude into each and every interaction with our residents who served in the military.
