If you were to look for someone who is kind, patient, and caring you would need not look any further than to our Northridge community and their beloved Memory Care Director, Frances Norberte. She has been a part of our community for 20 years, 9 of which have been with us as a part of the Pacifica Senior Living family. During these years, she has lovingly worked with that very special population of individuals and has been their ultimate champion, supporter, and cheerleader.
Pacifica Senior Living Palm Springs has the great honor of having Mr. David Kopay as a resident in our community! David moved into our community earlier this year, in February. We have absolutely loved having him, and he is one of the most well-known authors here. David joining our community has given us the opportunity to learn about his story—from playing in the NFL to his road to becoming an author. This amazing resident remains a public figure for the sport and his alma mater.
Most people think of Shirley Temple when they hear the song “Good Ship Lollipop”, but for Nancy Willis, it always conjures up memories of her childhood, the platform her dad built for her to tap dance on while her mom played the piano and her aunt the violin. Just 10 years old at the time, this is still one of her favorite memories of a fun-filled childhood.
Exercise has been known to add years to our lives, but a more imperative aspect of exercise is adding life to our years. An active lifestyle will not only enhance your appearance, but will also make you experience a higher sense of well-being as well as feel positive, energetic, and mentally sharper.
