Our Caregivers are the heart of our communities in so many ways. They offer that extra peace of mind for you or your loved one, and step in to care for them like family. They work within our communities to provide the perfect balance of care and support so your loved one can enjoy their independence while you rest assured knowing care is always on hand when they need it most. From medication management to assistance with the Activities of Daily Living (like bathing, dressing, or toileting), our caregivers assist with a range of care options depending on our residents needs.

Pacifica Senior Living is launching our new memory care program: Amara Memory Support. The Amara program aims to create a welcoming and empowering environment for residents living with dementia or other forms of cognitive impairment.
In Memory Care communities, it is important to create a warm, welcoming, and compassionate space where those with memory loss conditions can thrive. This means creating a calm and secure environment with caregivers and team members well versed in conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. But excellent care is only one part of memory support.

Senior Living communities are a great option for individuals who need a little extra support. There are many reasons someone may prefer to move to an assisted living community, including needing assistance with the activities of daily living, seeking additional in-house care, or they may be looking for a community lifestyle where they can enjoy an active social life.
Sometimes, however, the decision is not so simple, and family members or loved ones may be in a position to encourage a senior to make the move. Knowing when it is time to make the move - or encouraging your loved one to make the move - can be a stressful process, but there are several signs that can help you know when the time has come.

Pacifica Seniors Give Back

At Pacifica Senior Living, we love giving back to our local communities. From coast to coast, our Senior Living communities are involved with charity organizations and fundraising on both a national and neighborhood level.
Whether it is participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, donating to local animal shelters, collecting Toys for Tots during the holidays, or raising funds for local charities, our communities love getting involved and giving back.
Giving back not only changes the lives of those we give to, but it can also be powerful for our residents. Volunteering can create a sense of purpose, be linked to higher self-esteem, and encourage social connections and community. Volunteering time, donating, and raising both awareness and funds can help both sides, improving emotional and mental wellbeing, especially in seniors or retired individuals looking to fill their days with meaning.
As a company, Pacifica Senior Living partners with associations and charities where our team members and residents can give back in meaningful ways. Our biggest partnership is with the Alzheimer’s Association. We work with them to raise money and awareness throughout the year. One of our biggest events is participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s where staff, residents and loved ones come together to raise money and walk in support of those living with dementia.
Sweets of the Season: Pacifica's Holiday Dessert Competition
Dec 15, 2023 12:19:39 PM / by Carly Dodd, Pacifica Senior Living posted in Dining, Recipes & Nutrition
This past month we asked our culinary teams and chefs from across all our communities to recreate their favorite holiday dessert. From cookies to chocolate truffles, bread pudding to trifle, we received so many delicious sweet dishes. It was wonderful to see the stories and traditions that inspire the dishes and desserts our chefs create, and even more special to have them share these stories with us and the residents in their communities.
The holidays are a great time to both celebrate the traditions and stories from our families, but also to share the joy and excitement of the things we love with others.
