As we prepare to celebrate Judaism’s eight-day Festival of Lights, Pacifica Senior Living would like to wish a Happy Hanukkah season to all. Hanukkah occurs annually during a different eight-day period, falling between the end of November and the end of December.

Perhaps the most well-known Indian holiday in the United States, Diwali is not to be confused with Holi, the Festival of Colors. What is Diwali? Also known as Divali or Deepawali, Diwali is a 5-day national celebration wherein participants decorate their homes and businesses in lights -- similar to the way many of us hang lights as a Christmas tradition!
